You
already have a Magnum FORCE Stage 1 intake
system. You
bought it because you couldn’t wait for the Stage 2.
Now you’ve seen the gains that the
Stage 2 offers on your buddy's vehicle and you’re itching to have that
kind of power.
You hate to buy a Stage 2, which would
mean abandoning the Stage 1 you already have.
Now you can upgrade your Stage 1 to near
Stage 2 performance levels with the
Torque Booster Tube Upgrade System

Heat
Blocking Intake Tube
The
factory intake tube often has baffles, sharp
bends, and obstructions that send out flow
restricting wake like pebbles in a stream.
Others have constrictions in the diameter
that further impede airflow.
Our intake tubes feature smooth walls,
gradual bends and transition chambers that
straighten the airflow into the throttle body or
turbo inlet.
The tube is constructed of textured
cross-linked molded plastic that cuts down the
heat transfer from the hot engine compartment to
the cold air flowing through the tube.
Mass
Airflow Sensor Pad
More
and more vehicles are equipped with increasingly
sensitive Mass Airflow Sensors (MAF sensor) that
are connected to the vehicle Engine Control Unit
(ECU), the brains of the vehicle.
The calibration of the MAF sensor and its
position on the MAF sensor on the factory intake
tube is designed to measure velocity and mass of
the air flowing through the factory tube.
If the velocity of the air moving over
the MAF sensor is outside of the parameters
programmed into the ECU, whether too fast or too
slow; it will cause a lean stumble, engine error
code and poor throttle response.
We shape our tubes and position the MAF
sensor to increase flow to the throttle body or
turbo inlet while managing the velocity past the
MAF sensor to keep its signal range within
factory limits.
