In the august 2007 issue of dirtwheels magazine, aFe's Yamaha Rhino stage 2 air intake system is suggested for a price-reasonable modification.

dirtwheels magazine wrote: "One of the maintenance issues we have with the Rhino is servicing the air filter. The air box is a pain to get to and it's hard to tell if you even have the filter on correctly. This intake system from aFe allows you to access your air filter easily while providing dramatically more air flow. On the downside, it adds a lot more engine noise."
